Professional employees use the SUNY Time and Attendance System to submit time sheets.
Accrual Rates
Vacation Accrual

- Maximum accruals for vacation is 40 days for full-time and pro-rated (fte*40) days for part-time
- The balance can go over 40 days during the calendar year but must be back down to 40 days on January 1
- Full-time employees earn 1.00 Bonus day on January 2 for the duration of the contract
Eff 1/2/13, Part-time employees earn 1 Bonus day for the duration of the contract - Must be in pay status(working or using accruals) majority of the month to accrue
- Vacation shall be taken at such times where the supervisor has approved
- Days are charged according to normal work days
Sick Time Accrual

- Holiday time expires one year from when accrued
- Part-time employees (that meet eligibility) Earn holiday if it falls on a regular work day, the rate is based on normal hours worked that day
