• Make sure your device and browser meet the Panopto .

• Live Streaming on a mobile device only provides the primary video (usually instructor camera) and audio; but secondary video (usually slides) is not visible.
• On-demand recordings on mobile devices show primary video, audio, and displayed content.
• UB Learns Pulse app is not recommended for viewing Panopto videos. Quiz questions included in Panopto videos may not be visible through the Pulse app and it is more difficult to control video playback.

• View the video in a different web browser. 
• Google Chrome tends to give people trouble. Switch to Firefox or Safari to access UB Learns and Panopto.

• Click the Quality button and choose Medium.

• Close other applications or programs that are running while you watch. Internet intensive applications can use up bandwidth
• If the problem persists, download the recording and play it from your local computer. Download from any place that has a strong Wi-Fi signal, we suggest doing so while on campus or in a campus lab

• The quality of your experience will be affected by the speed of your connection to the Internet, whether at home or on campus. 
  • We recommend watching with a high-speed Internet connection (3 Mbps). On campus, ResNet and Public Computing Site connections work well. Off campus, FiOS or Spectrum are good.  Verizon DSL is not recommended.
  • Remember that the performance of your network connection at home is dependent on use by others in your home or neighborhood, so your speed may vary greatly at different times.
