Certified electronic credentials are ordered automatically, and students can choose whether to purchase them.

CeDiplomas are only available for June 2020 graduates and later.

Graduates cannot order a CeDiploma if they have any financial holds or obligations. Once the financial holds are resolved, contact the Office of the Registrar to order a CeDiploma.

The cost to purchase a CeDiploma or CeCertificate is $15.95.

When the credential is available, graduates will receive an email (to their UB account) from CeCredential Trust. To request a new download link, please use the CeCredential Trust site to .

Anyone can validate a graduate’s CeCredential by completing the form below.

• A CeDiploma is an official, secure and verifiable PDF version of the student’s accomplishment.

• Each credential provides a unique 12-digit CeDiD (Certified Electronic Document Identifier).
• The CeDiD allows for instant proof of the student’s accomplishment using .

• Unlimited sharing with family, friends, employers and social media.
• Proof of education with only the important details.
• Simple for employers to read and understand.

• Expedite the verification process by providing the student’s CeDiD and validation URL on their resume.

• Each CeDiploma and/or CeCertificate can be independently validated here by future employers, state government licensing agencies and any other entity that wishes to validate the student’s achievement.
• The document is digitally signed and encrypted, providing greater trust and acceptance.
• For security reasons, the electronic credential cannot be printed.

An apostille may neither be required nor necessary. The CeDiploma has legal standing, is non-repudiating, and can be validated here to provide absolute confidence in the credential’s authenticity. Please contact the Office of the Registrar with questions.
