Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 is a collection of powerful productivity apps you can use across multiple devices. It includes the Microsoft Office apps Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, as well as many others. This subscription service is free to current UB students, faculty and staff, for installs on up to five devices.  

Ways to use

Download from Microsoft

  • Students - on personally owned Windows and Mac computers (up to five devices)
  • Faculty/Staff - UB-owned Windows and Mac computers: See Microsoft 365.

Purchase from Microsoft

  • Students: See to order Microsoft 365 if you need to install it on a sixth (or more) device.
  • Faculty/Staff: See the to purchase personally owned or family-use Windows and Mac computers if you need to install it on a sixth (or more) device.

You must log in a second time to access Microsoft 365 apps from within My Virtual Public Site.
