UB Work Study Program

UBCCC also partners with the , and offers positions to UB students during the academic year. (Click the link to be connected to the UB Work Study website. Be aware that you must receive a work study award letter prior to working.)

Work Study students provide the same coverage as substitute teachers.

Work Study students usually cover lunch breaks (between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.), afternoons (between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.), vacations, leaves and call-outs. Work Study students may also provide coverage in the kitchen and at the front desk.

We are looking for the following positions:

  • Classroom assistant - students assisting in the classroom provide the same coverage as substitute teachers assist in any of our infant (6 weeks - 18 months), toddler (18 months - 3 years old) or preschool (3 - 5 years old) classrooms.
  • Office assistant - assist with filing paperwork, answering telephones and visitor sign-in.
  • Kitchen assistant - assist in the kitchen with dishes and cleaning toys and equipment.
