In April 2025, the University at Buffalo will administer the State University of New York (SUNY) Campus Climate Survey asking UB students, faculty and staff to provide information in order to inform our campus sexual assault prevention and response efforts.
New York State's (Article 129b of the New York State Education Law) provides a consistent set of policies and procedures across colleges and universities in New York State to prevent and respond to sexual violence, including sexual assault, stalking, domestic violence and dating violence.
Enough is Enough requires all colleges and universities to survey their employees and students on a biennial basis. Your participation in this survey helps UB to understand the prevalence of sexual violence on campus, the extent to which sexual violence is underreported, and the areas where we can improve our support, training and education.
The SUNY Campus Climate Survey will include questions in the following areas:
In April 2025, UB employees and students will receive information about how to take the survey, along with a link. Survey responses are anonymous, and the university will not be able to identify who took the survey or their individual answers. The University will use aggregate information from the survey to inform our sexual violence prevention and response efforts, and we will publish aggregate results from the survey on this webpage.
