In an attempt to strengthen the relationship between students and faculty, the Office of the Provost has initiated a program in which all undergraduates will receive a personal contact from faculty and staff within their academic departments. The highest ranks of faculty and administration at UB are overwhelmingly male, according to the report of the President's Task Force on Women at UB.
