Cheery cherries

Seventeen young cherry trees recently were planted around the Ellicott Complex on the North Campus and around Hayes Hall (seen here) on the South Campus. Daniel Seiders, a landscape architectural planner in Campus Planning, says cherry trees do well when planted in the early spring when the ground is warming but the danger of frost has not yet passed.
