Your Proposal Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting you in developing your proposal for your funding opportunity. This includes helping you to create an accurate budget, providing you with interpretation of your sponsor鈥檚 guidelines, and reviewing your entire proposal package for submission.

Your Agreement Administrator or Sponsored Projects Associate is primarily responsible for your proposal鈥檚 submission to the Sponsor. They also assist you in the interpretation of the funding opportunity鈥檚 guidelines and in some aspects of the proposal鈥檚 development. If a contract or agreement is involved, your Agreement Administrator is responsible for the negotiation and acceptance of sponsored project awards. They will also process non-industrial Confidentiality and Material Transfer agreements as well as incoming subcontracts.

The Contract Manager's primary responsibility is to review, negotiate, and sign non-industry sponsored project contracts. They also are involved in pre-award submission and post award management of contracts. This includes funded and non-funded agreements. Non-funded agreements include Data Use Agreements and Collaborative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs).
